Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, normal access and registration procedures have been suspended. Instead, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we strongly encourage patients to schedule telemedicine appointments with their providers and avoid personal visits to Oyate Health Center. At present, staying home and practicing social distancing is our best defense against the pandemic.

If you feel you must be seen in person, please call (605) 355-2500 to consult with your healthcare provider and arrange an appointment.

Urgent Care

Our Urgent Care department continues to accept patients from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, including weekends.

Telehealth Appointments

Oyate Health Center patients can now consult with their medical provider from the comfort of their home by scheduling a telehealth appointment. Depending on your available technology, these consultations can be done over the phone or by videoconference.

You can use telehealth appointments for:

  • Chronic disease management
  • Post-hospitalization management
  • Behavioral health
  • Medication questions
  • New onset conditions
  • Questions about COVID 19

Once an appointment is scheduled, we will send you a link by email that will connect you with your provider. Please inform our staff of your technological capabilities.

Curbside Pharmacy Pickup

Oyate Health Center has created a curbside prescription service so patients can refill their prescriptions without having to enter the facility. To take advantage of this service, please call the Pharmacy Refill Line at (605) 355-2240. The automated system will let you know when your refills will be ready for pick-up. When you arrive at OHC, pull into one of the six designated pickup spaces on the south side of the building marked with blue signage and call (605) 355-2211. A pharmacy staff member will confirm the patient’s name and birthdate, and they’ll ask which numbered space you’re parked in. After a few moments, a pharmacist will deliver the prescriptions to your vehicle. For controlled substances, the patient’s photo ID will be required for verification on delivery.

The pharmacy’s curbside service is available 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

OHC also offers a pharmacy-by-mail service. For more information, call (605) 355-2211.
